Pirates deserve more sympathy

Pirates deserve more sympathy. People always talk about the bad things pirates do, but no one ever thinks about how difficult life is being a pirate

Firstly, pirates work very hard. Most adults get about four weeks holiday a year. However, pirates rarely get holidays because they are too busy stealing treasure.

Secondly, life as a pirate is extremely stressful. Pirates constantly worry about keeping their treasure safe, escaping from the law, and who they will rob next. Furthermore, no one ever invites them onto their boat to relax over a cup of tea.

Finally, many pirates have disabilities. Pirates often get injured at work and end up with a peg leg, eye patch or even a hook as a hand. Usually, a person with a disability gets some extra help or even just a little sympathy, but pirates don’t get anything.

As you can see, life is very hard as a pirate. They work hard, get very stressed, and often have to live with a disability. Pirates must get more support!
